Sharing an Asset's Location with a Third Party

Learn how to share the live location of an asset with a third party, such as your customer using a temporary link

Locate the tracker you'd like to share on the Live Map. In the info card, select the Share Location button.

In the dialogue box, select when the link should expire. You can choose Asset enters Geo-fence to have the link expire when the asset reaches a pre-determined destination (learn more about Geo-fences), or set a time period up to 7 days.

If you don't see the Share Location option, contact CloudHawk Support to have it enabled for your account.

If you need to share access for longer than 7 days, you should consider creating a new user in your CloudHawk portal, which provides them with access that doesn't expire. You can always delete their account when it's no longer needed.
